Michael McGee was trained in his craft in Edinburgh under one of the founding members of the Lead Development Association. During this period he spent 15 years developing his skills on projects such as Stirling Castle, Drumlanrig Castle and Holyrood Palace.
In 2008 he migrated to Sydney, Australia bringing all that traditional skill and historic knowledge to this young city. Only a handful of others in Australasia have this pedigree and ability. During his time here he has consulted on heritage buildings such as Central Station Viaduct (sub-contract), Newtown Station, Paddington Town Hall and NSW Parliament House.
